Wellesley students are not eligible for funding from the UROP office (direct funding). Therefore, you must apply through faculty resources or for credit, and ensure you cross-register in advance before submitting a formal online UROP application.

Submit your online UROP application to your faculty supervisor no later than today to formalize your UROP for DLC/Supervisor (Sponsored Research) funding. You cannot be paid until your UROP is approved by UROP staff.

If you are a Wellesley College international student choosing to pursue a paid UROP opportunity during fall, spring or summer terms, please consult with the Slater International Center to obtain proper off-campus work authorization at least 2 weeks before beginning any paid research opportunity at MIT.
