Project Description

The City Science group is looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for coding our website that will serve as a tool to crowdsource data collection for developing countries. In this research opportunity, we will be providing the design, layout, and interaction of the website and the student will be in charge of creating the architecture and the code to take the web live. The website will have three main displays: display information, collect data (like google surveys), and visualized the data collected. You will be doing: -Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices -Creating website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices -Integrating data from various back-end services and databases Skills you will learn: -Learn how to Cooperate with web designers to match visual design -Working with an interdisciplinary group of architects and software engineers In this project, we collaborate with Guadalajara, Nigeria, and different organizations. You will have an excellent opportunity for both publishing academic papers and make a real impact! We accept only UROP for credits.
