Project Description

Work on developing support materials, concepts/designs for class projects, and a program of coursework that can be taught and engaged with virtually. This is a new MIT subject, conceptualized and preliminarily developed, that will be fleshed out this summer for teaching in the fall. Curriculum may be designed and developed in collaboration with local community groups for sharing more broadly with educators outside the university.

Pre-requisites

UROP applicants should have experience in project teamwork, background or interest in HCI, a strong interest in environmentalism and community-based co-design, and a willingness to explore and work with transmedia concepts. Experience in website development may be useful.
