The most profound technologies are those that disappear. They weave themselves into the fabric of everyday life until they are indistinguishable from it. -Mark Weiser The Responsive Environments group is currently integrating functional with common fibers to demonstrate various applications of multiplexed textile sensor for seamless customized wearables. The UROP candidate will be expected to perform multidimensional sensor data visualization and analysis, as well as pattern recognition for real-time activity and gesture classification.
