Project Description

Various projects related to Monte Carlo simulations in radiation therapy that can be adjusted to fit the interest and skills of each student: - positron emission tomography - modeling beam lines - modeling of DNA Each of these will be using the TOPAS Monte Carlo system, an application based on the Geant4 Monte Carlo code.

Pre-requisites

Basic shell scripting comfortable with C++ Additional bonus: - Monte Carlo expertise (Geant4) - some understanding of particle physics
