Project Description

Danfoss has virtualized physical application development centers (ADC) to speed development of vehicle systems through simulation and modeling of engine, hydraulic circuits, work function kinematics, and vehicle dynamics. Students will develop vehicle noise models and synchronize them with vehicle operating functions to enhance fidelity of the virtual ADC simulation. Students will also have an opportunity to operate a wheel loader that uses their model in Danfoss’ virtual ADC in Cambridge. Your model will be integrated to Danfoss’ virtual ADC and become part of a virtual test platform to accelerate vehicle design. Experience and/or interest in Off-highway vehicle design, operation, and function, modelling and simulation, sound design for immersive game environments.
