FASCIA: Open Source biosensing sleep mask for conducting sleep studies in the wild.
MAS: Media Arts and Sciences
Guillermo Bernal, firstname.lastname@example.org
We are looking for an undergraduate student with a background in signal processing and wireless systems to help develop our tool designed to use by researchers to monitor sleep studies in the wild. Our hardware collects brain signals, EDA or arousal, eye movement, heart rate, facial expression, and more, enabling real-time monitoring of the user’s physiological and cognitive state. The current research effort requires maximizing streaming data rates while maintaining signal quality.
Requirements: Comfortable working with Python, C, or Arduino languages is a must. Familiarity with IIR filters, UDP protocols, ESP wifi is also preferred.
