True to Mark Weiser's vision of Ubiquitous Computing, "The most profound technologies are those that disappear. They weave themselves into the fabric of everyday life until they are indistinguishable from it". The Responsive Environments group is integrating soft electronics into textiles to demonstrate various applications of dense electronic networks in wearable, deformable substrates. The UROP candidate(s) will be expected either to perform multidimensional sensor data visualization and analysis, conduct fusion and pattern recognition of sensor network data, design and test wireless miniaturized hardware, or develop augmented and virtual reality applications.
Are creative, driven, and independent. Are interested and experienced in one or more of the followings: textile and garment design, sensor networks, hardware fabrication, illustrations, Unity/Vuforia engine, and/or programming (C,Python,Processing,Grasshopper,or Rhino). Please send your interest and resume about this project to Irmandy Wicaksono: firstname.lastname@example.org
