Want to help extend the world's largest programming platform, used by over 200 million kids? With Scratch (scratch.mit.edu) developed by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab, kids as young as eight can get started with programming their own interactive stories, games, and animations. In the process, they learn to solve problems, design projects, and express themselves creatively with technology. We are looking for students to work on projects involving building tools for promoting creative collaboration, developing new Scratch extensions, and building customized Scratch microworlds.
Skills: Full-stack web development. Experience with React, Node, WebRTC, MySQL preferred. Recommended: 6.170, 6.031, 6.172 or similar
