Computational Imaging to see through skin and fog
MAS: Media Arts and Sciences
June 8, 2020
Connor Henley, firstname.lastname@example.org
We are looking for students who can help us develop novel imaging technologies to see through scattering media such as skin and fog. Students will be working on building simulations, algorithms, machine learning techniques, and experimental validations. The research can be applied to medical imaging and autonomous navigation. We expect students to work remotely until we can start working safely again on campus.
An ideal candidate would have experience in some field that requires an understanding of the properties of light--this might be optics, physics, computer graphics, or computer vision. Experience in numerical computing (i.e. NumPy or MATLAB) would also be helpful.
