Cardiovascular Shape Analysis
HST: Health Sciences and Technology
September 20th, 2020
Jessica Williams, email@example.com
Our team is a multidisciplinary group of engineers and physicians, working towards uncovering mechanistic descriptions and explanations of complex medical phenomena. In this project, we are developing a computational pipeline for detection of principal modes of geometric variation of aortas from thoracic CT scans. We are looking for an undergraduate student with strong experience coding in Python and an interest in medical science to help develop this platform. To apply, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with a copy of your resume. Students will leverage coding skills to absorb new insights into complex diseases of the aorta and an appreciation of science and engineering shape decisions in medicine and physiology.
The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic student with experience coding in Python and an interest in biomedical engineering. A computer science student would be ideal, although students from all other disciplines are welcome to apply.
