Our interdisciplinary team of engineers and clinicians is working to study device-heart interactions during mechanical circulatory support for heart failure patients. The objective of this project is to study the cardiovascular energetics and dynamics during biventricular heart failure and circulatory support. This project will involve analysis of clinical and device functional data to gain critical insights into complex cardiovascular physiology and ventricular coupling. With preliminary data already available, this project can be conducted fully remotely.
