We are looking for students with programming experience, including C++, SQL, and python, to join the research project. This is a remote UROP position. The project will (1) assess behavioral changes in response to the introduction to new shared autonomous vehicle (SAV) and mobility services, including modal-shifts, time-of-day patterns, and trip purposes, across different types of cities; (2) quantify the system impacts of new AV/mobility services, including congestion and vehicle miles traveled, across different types of cities; and (3) find optimal solutions for AV/mobility deployments that balance the interests of customers, fleet operators, and cities that could be scaled across cities of the same type.
