Augmented reality project about refugee inventions / International Exhibition
We are looking for 1 or 2 students to help us with an augmented reality project, which will be exhibited in a major international exhibition. You will have the opportunity to learn about various aspects of immersive experience design, game development, and mobile application development. Thematically, you will have an opportunity to learn from inventions created by refugees in contexts of scarcity and extreme climatic conditions. Students collaborating with us will have access to the MIT Virtual Experience Design Lab and the MIT Future Heritage Lab/Program in Art, Culture and Technology. This would be a paid position (Direct Funding) or for credit.
We are looking for candidates with a strong interest in augmented reality, and experience in one or more of the following: 1. Graphic design and illustration (Illustrator) 2. 3D Modelling (Blender, 3DSMax, or Rhino) 3. Unity Game Engine
