Alzheimer's Disease Data Analysis
24: Linguistics and Philosophy
Thursday, April 30, 2020
Suzanne Flynn, firstname.lastname@example.org
We have collected complex language data from three groups: adults with early stage Alzheimer's Disease (AD), healthy aging (HA) and healthy young [MIT students] (HY) through a multi-site project (MIT, MGH, and Cornell University). We are looking for a student who would be interested in working with us to continue the data analyses of the oral language from these three groups. We are investigating the subtle changes in the language of adults with early AD in comparison to HA and HY. No experience is required although some background in linguistics would be helpful. Contact Professor Suzanne Flynn with an email of interest along with a resume.
No experience is necessary but some background in linguistics e.g., 24.900 would be useful. Must be able to work remotely and independently; attend weekly zoom meetings to discuss the data analyzed. All training will take place during the UROP.
